With a focus on innovation, education and long-term strategy, Brylie helps organizations navigate rising benefit costs, evaluate alternative funding structures and determine when captives can be a powerful tool for risk management and financial control.

Kahlil Hogan
Employee Benefits Department Leader

Kahlil is the Employee Benefits Department Leader of the firm. He is responsible for overseeing the growth, development, and operations of the organization, which includes managing the various internal departments. In addition, he maintains a book of business where he ensures the high quality of Brown & Brown's benefits practice, including strategic benefits planning, financial analysis, renewal negotiations, and carrier performance. He personally manages the underwriting and rate negotiating for many of Brown & Brown’s groups. Kahlil worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois for seven years as a Senior Account Executive responsible for underwriting and renewing large group business up to 10,000 lives, before joining Brown & Brown in 2004.
