Chana Bieker, SVP, Benefits - National Account Leader

Chana leads the Large Employer National Accounts practice at Brown & Brown’s Dallas, Texas office. With over 20 years of consulting experience, she works with a wide range of human capital leaders across diverse industries. Chana specializes in advancing total health equity through intentional, innovative health and welfare benefit strategies that balance and strengthen people-centric goals with cost management and long-term financial stability. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kansas Wesleyan University.

Laura Birkel, EVP, National Pharmacy Consulting Leader

Laura Birkel leads the Brown & Brown National Pharmacy Consulting team, bringing nearly 20 years of PBM consulting experience. Prior to this role, Laura led Pharmacy Management Services at Brown & Brown - Risk Solutions (Axia), focused on pharmacy consulting to health plans and employers. Her specializations include overall strategy development, RFP development and negotiation, reporting, vendor oversight/management, auditing and cost management strategy development. Laura holds a bachelor's degree in business administration – human resources from the University of Wisconsin (Eau Claire).

Chris Kardos, Managing Partner

Chris Kardos serves as a Managing Partner in Brown & Brown’s Southborough, Massachusetts office. Over his 25-year consulting career, Chris has advised a diverse group of HR and
Finance leaders from many industries. His areas of specialization include total benefits strategy development, innovative health benefit design and financing strategies, measurement of clinical solutions and provider network customization. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship in History and Anthropology.
