LTC legislation has been proposed in multiple states… Is your organization prepared?
With these new proposed changes to policies for states regarding long term care, three states, California, Massachusetts and Minnesota, are currently engaged or have earmarked funds to study the actuarial feasibility of a statutory program similar to Washington State. A fourth state, Maryland, recently introduced a bill to complete an insurance study, re: public/private options to help individuals better prepare for long term care services and support needs generally related to long term care insurance.
