Karl Kurrle
GRC Strategic Leader and Enterprise Solutions Architect at Consulo, LLC

Karl Kurrle is GRC Strategic Leader and Enterprise Solutions Architect at Consulo, LLC. Throughout his career, Karl has led the charge on strategy, innovation, and transformation as a 25-year Information Technology veteran. Not satisfied with the status quo, Karl challenges organizations with wholistic view to cybersecurity while driving business value. He has spent the last 10 years consulting with focus on IT and cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance having extensive experience in highly compliant and regulated industries of healthcare, manufacturing, and finance with specialization of ISO27001 and SOC2 frameworks.

Karl continues to lend his strategic approach of focusing on business requirements and risk management to other organizations facing daunting regulatory and framework requirements. Supporting both SMB and scaling mid-market companies, he creates compliance and risk-based security assessment solutions in preparation for audits and compliance evaluations.

On a personal note, Karl is a true foody, not only socially writing, evaluating, and photographing foods, but also a practiced and avid grill master when not supporting his clients – you may even find him on the river flyfishing for a fresh meal.
