CAL/OSHA General Industry 10-hour Certification Course

Attend the CAL/OSHA General Industry Certification Course to learn about the following safety and health topics:

  • Introduction to OSHA and CAL/OSHA
  • Walking and working surfaces, including fall protection
  • Exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention plans and fire protection
  • Electrical
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Hazard communication
  • Health hazards
  • Injury and illness prevention program (IIPP) and heat illness prevention
  • Tools and equipment
  • Materials handling

  • Supervisors, Foremen, Crew Leaders
  • Employees who want to improve their skill sets and advance to supervision or management positions
