Darryl Frye
Senior Absence Consultant, Brown & Brown

As an Absence Consultant, Darryl consults with internal sales and account management teams, as well as with external national account clients, on a wide variety of complex projects including FMLA, State Leave Laws, ADA Pay, Salary Continuance, Statutory Disability, Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability, Vacation and Paid Time-off (PTO) and other employer sponsored leave programs. Darryl is also responsible for managing claim and process audits on behalf of our clients. Prior to Pacific Resources, Darryl was an Operations Manager for the Absence Management Operation division at CareWorks. There he was responsible for the oversight, management, and fiscal stability of the division and served as key contributor to the implementation of all large-scale client programs. Prior to that he served as a Managed Care Supervisor for CareWorks. Darryl holds a bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University and is also a Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) through the Disability Management Employer Coalition.

Abinue Fortingo, MPH, CPH
Population Health & Well-Being Consultant, Brown & Brown

Abinue Fortingo is a population health / wellbeing consultant and strategist. He joined Brown & Brown in November 2021 as Principal, Population Health Consultant.

Prior to joining Brown & Brown, he spent 10 years at a global consulting firm where he consulted on population health topics for multiple organizations across various industries, developed award-winning health management programs for leading organizations, contributed to the development of wellbeing and population health intellectual capital for the firm, and recently led behavioral health growth and intellectual capital development for the health benefits practice.

His areas of expertise include benefits design, wellbeing, clinical strategy, behavioral health, virtual care technology, digital health technology, health advocacy, navigation, employee engagement, and health care consumer experience.

Abinue holds a Master of Public Health degree with a focus in Health Policy and Management and a B.A. in Political Science –both from the University of Georgia.
