Premier Choice Healthcare, Brown & Brown\u2019s UK based health insurance hub has acquired South Eastern intermediary, \u2018Healthcover Ltd\u2019.<\/p>\n
It is the tenth deal for PCH since becoming part of Brown & Brown Europe in August 2020. This transaction continues the growth which PCH has seen under the leadership of Stephen Hough, PCH\u2019s managing director.<\/p>\n
Brighton-based Healthcover Ltd writes personal and business PMI and specialises in international health cover for UK-based customers, which, according to Stephen Hough, was a key factor behind the acquisition.<\/p>\n
Stephen said: \u201cThe addition of Healthcover to the PCH portfolio will support our strategic ambitions for the UK, but crucially also provides us with expansion and deep experience in the International PMI market, which we see as a major opportunity for the business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephen explained that the Healthcover team will become part of PCH across the UK. The two directors will join PCH as international PMI consultant (James Dwyer) and business healthcare consultant (Shaun Hart). Teammates Jo Walbrin and Rachael Bown will join PCH\u2019s consumer specialist division, Equity Health Solutions.<\/p>\n
