Sarah van Vuuren, Pharmacy Relations Strategist
With nearly 20 years of experience in the pharmacy field, Sarah began her career as a pharmacy technician in hospital and retail settings. She later joined Target Corporation, where she held various support roles in their retail pharmacy operations. Transitioning into pharmacy benefits consulting, Sarah worked with The Burchfield Group, an Aon Company, serving large employers, mid-market businesses, state and local governments, and union clients.
Following this, Sarah joined OptumRx as an Associate Director, managing their largest Labor and Trust client. Most recently, she worked with the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company as a Client Service Manager.
In January 2025, Sarah proudly became part of the Brown & Brown team.
